#1 Stop thinking that you know everything on the internet...Nobody knows everything!  

This mistake is mostly made by young entrepreneurs. Because of their involvement with the internet (for fun, etc.) or because they have studied a blog, video or tutorial, they feel that they know exactly what to do. This leads them to not listen to advice, to be unaware that it seems unknown to them and to make mistakes that in many cases they do not even realize.  It is good that you know the subject you are going to deal with but it is even more positive to be able to listen to the advice of the people you will work with and trust them (of course not with your eyes closed) to give you what they are dedicated to their professional careers.



#2 What distinguishes you from the rest?  

At this point we can not advise you on the ways in which you will achieve this but more on what questions you will ask yourself.
  • Are the products I offer special and there is not much competition in the online market?
  • Have I achieved excellent sales prices compared to the competition?
  • Have I created a separate sales and customer service model that I can offer in my online store?
  • Can I achieve very short delivery times or economical shipping times that will make me stand out from the competition?
  • Do I think that the other eshop I see in my industry are not as good (aesthetically and functionally) as I imagine my own eshop?
If you answer yes to even one of the above questions or have your own answers to topics not mentioned above, then you have a very good reason to start your new eshop.



#3 Set your budget but be bold!
A key element for the success of a new eshop is that the owner has properly studied the costs associated with all the elements that make up this new sales channel.

You need to properly study the warehouse you need to create. Your stocks should not be too small so that they are not enough for the smooth operation of the online store, nor so much that will make you suffocate financially in case everything does not go as you expect.

> The construction of the online store.
A beautiful and functional eshop is a key element for its success. Keep a decent budget for its construction without necessarily activating all the additional functions that may accompany it and create extra costs that especially in the beginning may not be necessary.

> Calculate unforeseen expenses and give a respectable time to success.
A common feature of most people who invest in a new online store is that the day after it is created they expect complete success with hundreds of sales. Like any business, the eshop needs some time to establish itself in the market and create its own audience.

> Set aside a good budget to promote your online store. 
It will be a pity to get here successfully and you have no money left to communicate this new creation of yours to the consumers. So make sure you have the right money to advertise it by launching it.
